This is one of work in the Kusudama suites.
The part has a pocket and a flap, but these are same shapes. And, it depends on a maker which part of joint becomes a flap or the pocket.

Reverse type is Oberek.

Polonez is the group dancing or dance music that was popular until the about 19th century in Poland. And it is a representative folk dance like Mazurek of Poland.
