This is a piece of Eos’s Passacaglia folded using paper with a 4:7 ratio. The original piece is made using paper with a 1:2 ratio.
1:2 is also expressed as 4:8.
Therefore, the 4:7 ratio means the paper used is about one-eighth shorter than the paper for the original piece.

Folding with this 4:7 paper makes each part slightly shorter, resulting in a more compact overall piece.

This piece is not a skeleton type, but a hollow kusudama, it can put a large bell or sachet inside.
With a little creativity, it seems like there are many ways to have fun with it.



エオスズパッサカリアを4：7の比率の紙で折った作品です。オリジナルの作品は1：2の紙で作ります。1：2は言い換えると、4：8。
つまり、4：7の比率は、オリジナルの作品の紙よりも、8分の1ほど、短い紙ということになります。

この4：7の比率の紙で折ることで、ひとつのパーツの長さが少し短くなり、全体的に、こぢんまりとした作品に仕上がりました。

この作品はスケルトンではなく、中心が空洞のくす玉なので、中に大きめの鈴や匂い袋などを入れることもできます。
工夫次第でいろいろと楽しめそうです。
