MEMO

These are kusudama made by tying the parts together with strings. They were created in 2007.

The parts are folded from square sheets of paper.

The parts are folded from square sheets of paper. Since the way you curl the paper changes the overall look and the impression of the piece, you can experiment with different styles.
You can also choose not to curl the paper at all and instead transform it to bloom like a flower.

For kusudama made by tying with strings, the assembly method is almost the same regardless of the number of parts.

The process of pulling the strings to the left and right to form a sphere is a thrilling and exciting moment. It offers a different kind of fun compared to unit (modular) type or glue-assembled kusudama.

糸でくくってパーツをまとめるタイプのくす玉です。2007年の作品。

パーツは正方形から折り出します。カールの仕方で作品の印象が変わるので、色々と遊べます。また、カールをするのではなく、花のように咲かせることもできます。

糸で括るタイプのくす玉は、パーツの数がいろいろ違っても、まとめ方は、ほぼ同じ。
左右に紐を引っ張って、球体を形作る工程はどきどきわくわくの瞬間。ユニット（モジュラー）タイプや接着剤でまとめるタイプのくす玉とはまた違った面白さがあります。
