The works of origami zaiku are decorative parts that adorn 1/4 unit squares and are decorated using glue.
The Efa chrysanthemum featured in Volume 1, Issue 2 is slightly smaller than the Dante chrysanthemum featured in Volume 1, and when used in combination with Dante chrysanthemums made from origami paper of different sizes, an even more gorgeous flower will bloom.
The flower in the sample work is double, but you can make it triple or quadruple if you want. (Adjusting the size of the paper is necessary.)

The polyhedron in the sample piece is a rhombic icosidodecahedron. It is composed of 20 triangles, 30 squares, and 12 pentagons. In addition, Dante chrysanthemum and Ephah chrysanthemum are added to decorate the squares (30 x 4 parts each), for a total of 350 parts used.

The name of the work, “Efa chrysanthemum” is an actual variety of chrysanthemum. It is a Decoramum that blooms in a decorative pattern. The actual name of the variety is “efa” followed by the color name of the color, such as “orange”, ‘salmon’, “pink”, and so on.



折り紙細工は1/4ユニットの四角形を飾るデコレーションパーツで、接着剤を使って装飾します。 第1巻2号掲載のエファ菊は第1巻掲載のダンテ菊よりもひと回り小さいサイズに仕上がり、サイズの違う折り紙から作ったダンテ菊と組み合わせて使うと、よりゴージャスな花が咲きます。
見本の作品の花はふたえですが、やろうと思えば三重にも四重にもすることができます。（紙のサイズの調整は必要です）

見本の作品の多面体は、斜方二十･十二面体。三角形20個、正方形30個、五角形12個で構成されていて、使用パーツは三角形は20パーツ、正方形が30パーツ、五角形が60（12×5）パーツです。それに正方形を装飾するダンテ菊、エファ菊が加わり（各30×4パーツ）、使用パーツは合計350パーツです。

作品名の「エファ菊」は実際にある菊の一品種。デコラ咲きをするデコラマム(Decorative mum / デコラティブマム)です。実際の品種名は「エファ」の後に「オレンジ」やら「サーモン」やら「ピンク」やらの、色をさす色名が続いています。
