Arabesqueen joint / アラベスクィーン ジョイント

Note

This is a variation of “Arabesque joint,” a joint method in which the flap is inserted into the pocket and the joint is folded and locked.

Arabesqueen joint can be applied to almost all works that use Arabesque joint, such as “Arabesque” and “Sham“.

The photo shows a work with arabesqueen joint on an arabesque (the top one) and a work with arabesqueen joint on a sham (the bottom one).

The two pieces look very similar, but the color of the joints changes.



「フラップをポケットに差し込み、そのジョイント部分に折りを加えてロックする」というジョイント方法「アラベスクジョイント」のバリエーションです。

「アラベスク」や「シャム」など、アラベスクジョイントを用いてパーツをつなぐ作品のほとんどに、適用可能です。

写真はアラベスクにアラベスクィーンジョイントを用いた作品（上）とシャムにアラベスクィーンジョイントを用いた作品（下）。
ふたつはとてもよく似ていますが、ジョイント部分の色が変わります。
