Neith / ネイト

MEMO

I changed the fluttering triangles of the work of Arabesque into pointed triangles.
While Arabesque is folded with square paper, Naith is made with paper half the size of a square.

This piece was made in the process of making “Nato,” which I created in 2016.

The folding difficulty is intermediate level. The assembly method is the same as for the work of Arabesque.

When naming the piece, I thought, “Since it’s made during the process of creating the original Neith, ‘Nato’ will be fine,” but after thinking about it carefully, I realized that this was confusing.

Since I had already distributed the folding diagram, I was forced to change the name of the original to “Neith of Giovanni”.

アラベスクの三角のひらひらをとんがり三角にしてみました。アラベスクは正方形の紙から折りますが、ネイトは正方形の半分の紙から作ります。
2016 年に創作した『ネイト』を作る過程で、できる作品です。

作品の折り方の難易度は中級程度。組み方はアラベスクと同じです。

作品の名前をつける時に「もともとのネイトを作る過程でできるから『ネイト』でいいや。』と、安直に考えたのですが、あとでよくよく考えてみると、紛らわしいことに気がつきました。
折り図を配布したあとだったので、仕方なく、オリジナルの方の名前を『ジョバンニのネイト』に変更しました。ホームページの方は変更してまへん。（→ネイト）
