Mitsuwari sakura temari / 三つ割桜てまり

These are sub-type works of “Sakura Temari“, that need 60 parts and assembled using glue.

Both “Sakura temari” and “Mitsuwari sakura temari” are structurally identical, and when one part is looked at both parts from the upper angle, these　are trapezoidal.

If you look at those parts from the upper angle, these are a trapezoid. However, the two margins to glue are replaced.
Comparing both works, it means that the position of the gluing margin is off by 22.5 degrees.

The work that has exactly the same contours as this one is “Mandala“.



桜てまりの亜型で、桜てまりと同じく、60パーツから成り立ち、接着剤を使ってパーツを組み立てます。

「桜てまり」も「三つ割桜てまり」も構造的には同じで、1つのパーツを上から見ると、どちらも台形になっていますが、実はのりしろの位置が入れ替わっています。

つまり、桜てまりと三つ割桜てまりの違いは、のりしろの位置が 22.5 度、ずれています。
微妙な違いですが、この両者を見分けるコツは、パーツを横から見ると、両者の違いが一目瞭然です。

全体的にも、ふたつの作品の輪郭は、よぉーく見比べると違います。

この「三つ割桜てまり」の輪郭とまったく同じ輪郭を持つ作品が過去作品の中にもあります。
