Mitsuwari Series Chrysanthemum ‘Breeze’ / 三つ割シリーズ ブリーズ菊

This is a variation of the “Tem tem temari” design, assembled with 60 parts. Adhesive is required to assemble the parts.

It is part of the new “Mitsuwari” series, which reassembles the standard Tem Tem Temari by swapping the places where five parts are gathered and where three parts are gathered.

Each part features two petals—one large and one small—so a total of ten petals bloom at the points where five parts are gathered.

As it is hollow inside, it can be enjoyed in various ways by inserting a bell or some potpourri. The piece shown in the sample photograph contains a light blue bell.

The ‘Breeze Chrysanthemum’ is one of the ‘Cocktail Mums’—a group within the ‘Pot Mum’ category, which comprises dwarf horticultural chrysanthemum varieties bred to be easy to grow in pots.

60パーツで組み立てるてんてんてまりのバリエーションです。パーツの組み立てには接着剤を使います。

普通のてんてんてまりの、パーツが5つ集まるポイントと3つ集まるポイントが入れ替わる新しい『三つ割シリーズ』の作品のひとつです。

ひとつのパーツには大小二枚の花弁があり、5つ集まるポイントに合計10枚の花弁が咲きます。

中が空洞なので、鈴を入れたり、ポプリを入れたり、色々と楽しめます。見本の写真の作品には、水色の鈴が入っています。

ブリーズ菊は鉢で育てやすいように改良された矮性園芸品種の菊『ポットマム』の中の『カクテルマム 』のひとつ。オランダのDÜMMEN ORANGE社のものが有名らしい。（←ガガったら（DuckDuckGo）一番に出てきたので。）
色も赤、白、黄色、桃色などなど、たくさんあって、見ているだけでも楽しい。
