Mitsuwari Series Ornithogalum umbellatum / 三つ割シリーズ 大甘菜（おおあまな）

This is a variation of the “Tem Tem Temari,” which is assembled with 60 parts. It is part of the “Mitsuwari” series I have been working on since last month (May 2026).

Tem Tem Temari series is already round and cute, but the “Mitsuwari” series—where the points where five parts come together have been swapped with those where three parts come together—is even rounder and has such a truly cute silhouette that I’m absolutely smitten with it. I also love that they’re hollow inside.

It looks like I’ll be making a lot more of these.

A design similar to “Ornithogalum umbellatum” is “Pink Rain Lily, a variation of the “Mitsuwari Yume-zakura”. It might be interesting to compare them.



60パーツで組み立てる『てんてんてまり』のバリエーションです。
先月（2026年5月）から取り組んでいる、三つ割シリーズのひとつ。

てんてんてまりシリーズは、ころころと丸っこく可愛いのですが、パーツが5つ集まるポイントと3つ集まるポイントが入れ替わった三つ割シリーズは、さらに丸っこく、ほんとうにキュートな輪郭なので、そうとう愛でています。中が空洞なところもお気に入り。
まだまだ、繁殖しそうです。（←はまったら、しつこい人）

大甘菜に似ている作品に、三つ割夢桜のバリエーションの『桃色玉簾（ももいろたますだれ）があります。比べてみると面白いかも。

名前の『大甘菜（おおあまな）』は、キジカクシ科の多年草で、ヨーロッパ原産の帰化植物。
美味しそうな名前だけど、有毒なので注意。（サポニン、シュウ酸カルシウム針状結晶、強心配糖体：コンバラトキシン、コンバロシドなどを含むんだそうな。）
