Chrysanthemum “Rocca” / ロカ菊

MEMO

The Origami zaiku Series consists of decorative parts for embellishing 1/4-unit squares, and adhesive is used to decorate.

The Rocca chrysanthemum has petals the same size as the Rossano chrysanthemum and looks very similar, but it has three inner petals.

The sample piece uses Dante chrysanthemums to add color to these three petals and to add another inner petal. Within the Dante chrysanthemums are even smaller Efa chrysanthemum petals.

The work’s name, Rocca Chrysanthemum, comes from the name of an actual chrysanthemum variety. Some varieties have color names like “Pink,” “Lime,” or ‘White’ added after “Rocca.”



折り紙細工シリーズは、1/4ユニットの四角形を装飾するデコレーションパーツで、装飾する時には接着剤を使います。

ロカ菊は、ロサーノ菊と同じサイズの花弁で、見た目もよく似ていますが、内側にある花弁が3枚あります。

見本の作品は、この三枚の花弁に色をつけるためと、もうひとつ内側の花弁を増やすために、ダンテ菊が使われています。ダンテ菊の中にはさらにちいさなエファ菊の花弁があります。

作品名のロカ菊は、実際にある菊の品種名から。『ロカ』の後に「ピンク」や「ライム」、「ホワイト」などの色名が付く品種もあります。
