MEMO
Bolero is one of the Kusudama Suite, a group of works challenging “how to connect simple shapes.” This is the very first work in this series.
It can be said to be another way of assembling the “Friant Natural type“.
The parts are connected using a “Flap and pocket joint”, that the flap is inserted into the pocket, and it can also be used “Arabesque joint”, that is adding folds to the joint to lock it in place.
Arabesque joint is useful, as they are less likely to come off the parts and allow for a more easy assembly. However, it is very difficult to assemble by only using Arabesque joint.
The passacaglia is the reverse type, which is turning Bolero’s part over.
Bolero, like Friant, can be decorated with decoration parts having 1/8 rectangular standard.
『簡単な形をいかにつなぐか』に挑戦している作品群くすだま組曲のひとつ。このシリーズの一番はじめの作品で、ここから暴走が始まりました。
フリアント ナチュラルタイプの別の組み方とも言えます。
パーツは、フラップをポケットに差し込んで組む『フラップ & ポケットジョイント』でつなぎますが、ジョイント部分に折りを加えてロックをする、アラベスクジョイントも使えます。
アラベスクジョイントを使うと、パーツが外れにくくしっかりと組めます。ただ、アラベスクジョイントだけで組むのは、非常に難しいです。
ボレロのパーツをひっくり返して組んだのがパッサカリアです。
ボレロは、フリアントと同じく、1/8 矩形規格を持つデコレーションパーツで飾ることができます。
