This is a modular-style piece that requires no glue for assembly. It uses a connection method similar to that of the Passacaglia.

The Passacaglia uses the “Arabesque-Joint” technique, which involves adding folds to the joint areas where the parts connect, making them less likely to come apart.
Passacaglia was originally one of the pieces in the “Kusudama Suite,” a series created to explore how to connect simple shapes parts.

The name of piece “Passacaglia” is a folk dance originating in Spain.

パーツの組み立てに接着剤を必要としない、モジュラータイプの作品です。パッサカリアと似た繋ぎ方をします。

パッサカリアはパーツが繋がれている部分（ジョイント部分）に、折りを加えて、パーツ同士を外れにくくする技術『アラベスクジョイント』が使われています。
もともとは、簡単な形をいかに繋ぐか、にチャレンジした『くすだま組曲』の作品のひとつです。
