Gilmore Girls

I start to study English recently, because I want to enjoy DVDs without subtitles.
When I read it, my hands which is folding origami have to stop.
Then I bought my favorite drama DVDs “Gilmore girls”.
It’s American drama in 2000~, very funny and heart-warming, I like it very much.
So, I thought it is good to study English from drama which is interesting, it will not get bored.

But the drama has a lot of idioms and slangs.
Example,
“please with sugar on top,”
“pull a bank job”,
“pull a Menendez”,
“the strip turned pink”,

Hahahahaha…

It’s all right, somehow.
To find out meaning is like deciphering a riddle.
Now I finished only episode 1.

I wonder if it is helpful for study English?
I don’t know, I hope my choice is not wrong.
There are 43 episodes I bought…

○”Please with sugar on top”
“cherry on top”

○”pull a bank job”

○”pull a Menendez”

○”the strip turned pink”

“I stopped being a child the minute the strip turned pink, Okay? I had to figure out how to live.
I found a good job.”
