MEMO
These are variations of the Magic Bloom series, derived from “October Sakura” and “Hatsushiro Sakura”.
There are two ways to fold the flower shapes of “Kurehashidare” and “Shinano Nadeshiko”. “Shinano Nadeshiko”, created in 2008, is made using a different folding method from the diagram distributed. It is also folded like a mirror (mirror symmetry).
If you look closely you can see the difference, but I don’t think many people would notice just by looking at the photo.
Kurehashidare is one of the actual varieties of flowering plum trees.
Strictly speaking, Dianthus shinanensis is “Dianthus shinanensis (Yatabe) Makino.”
A perennial plant classified in the Caryophyllaceae family, Dianthus genus. It is endemic to Japan and is found in central Honshu.
