This is a modular origami work where the parts are assembled without using glue.

Two types of jointing methods are used for assembling the parts (multi-modular joint). Both are common methods of inserting flaps into pockets.

While it has a geometric shape typical of unit origami, the folding method is extremely simple.

As you assemble the parts, you’ll likely find yourself thinking, “Is this simple piece really what makes up this kusudama?”
I guarantee you’ll enjoy the wonder of unit-folding.



接着剤を使わずにパーツを組み立てるモジュラータイプの作品です。パーツの組み立てに、2種類のジョイント方法を使います。（マルチモジュラージョイント）。いずれもフラップをポケットに差し込む一般的なつなぎ方です。

いかにもユニット折り紙っぽい、幾何学的な形ですが、折り方はいたってシンプルです。パーツを組み立てながら、こんな単純なパーツがこのくす玉をつくるのかぁ。とユニット折り紙の不思議さを楽しんでもらえること、請け合いです。
