Taraxacum alpicola (Miyama-dandelion) / 深山蒲公英（みやまたんぽぽ）

MEMO

This is one of variation work in “Trisection unit II“, which modular type assembled without glue.

Each piece has six petals, which expresses the many petals of a dandelion.

The name of the work comes from an actual dandelion variety. Miyama dandelion is a native species of dandelion indigenous to Japan and grows wild in alpine areas.

I have done similar work before with a variation of the Variety Unit, which is name of “Taraxacum maruyamanum kitam”



「三等分ユニット 弐」のバリエーションです。接着剤を使わずに組み立てます。

ひとつのパーツに6枚の花びらがあり、これがたくさんある蒲公英の花弁を表現しています。

作品の名前は実際にある蒲公英の品種から。深山蒲公英は、高山地に自生する日本固有の在来種です。

バラエティユニットでも、隠岐蒲公英（おきたんぽぽ）という似たような作品を作ったことがあります。
