スターリーナイトについて / About a work of “Starry night”

Starry night is a work developed from a work of “Sterrennacht” created Apr.2017.
The diagram was drawn as the monthly diagram of Aug.2019 for patrons who are $10 or more.



「スターリーナイト」は、2017年4月創作の「星月夜」のアレンジ作品。
2019年8月のマンスリーで、毎月描くふたつの図面のうちのひとつの作品はこれ。

まんまるでかわいい / Looks is roundly and so cute.

The work of looks is very roundly and so cute.
And I think it is good as an ornament for Christmas.



創作中はたいして何も期待していなかったけど、いざ仕上がると全体的に丸っぽい。ころころしている。

「キミ、意外とかわいいじゃぁないか!!」

と、日本に持って帰りたくなった。

クリスマスとかのオーナメントにかなり良さげ（←良さそう /鳥取弁）な感じ。

スターリーナイトの名前の由来 / the name “Starry night” cames from

“Sterrennacht” which is the original work means “Starry night” in Dutch.

So “Sterrennacht” and “Starry night” have the same meanings. I named these works after “De Sterrennacht” which is an oil on canvas painted by Vincent van Gogh who was Dutch.



オリジナルの作品「星月夜」は英語の折り図では 「Sterrennacht」 という名前。オランダ語で「星月夜」の意味。
一方、今回のアレンジ作品「スターリーナイト」は、英語で「星月夜」の意味。
実はどっちも同じ意味。

この「星月夜」はオランダ人の画家「ヴィンセント・ヴァン・ゴッホ」の作品「星月夜」にちなんでいる。

と言えば、かっこいい感じがするが、実は名前を考えるのが面倒くさくて、有名な絵画の名前をパクった。というのが本当のところ。

展開図折り、みたいな? / It needs a high skill to fold.

To speak frankly, with respect to the work of “Sterrennacht”, I can not say it’s easy to fold.

It has processes that making folded lines, like mountain folds and valley folds, after that, the paper will be folded so that follow folded lines at one time.

This is a technic using in the world of complex origami a lot.

Also, the work of “Starry night” needs this technic.

If someone can make these works, he or she will have good folding skills and will be awesome!!!



オリジナル作品「星月夜」をチョチョイのチョイで折れてしまう人は、相当な折り紙スキルの持ち主だと言えかもしれない。

なぜかと言うと、実はこの作品「紙に”山折り”だの”谷折り”だのの折り線を作りまくり、一気に折りたたむ」っちゅう難解な工程があったりするんだな。

そのせいかな。今までにこの作品を完成させたと言う人を見たことがない。

そして今月の作品「スターリーナイト」も「紙に折り線をつけて一気に折りたたむ」という工程がある。

しかも、今回の折り図は手抜きで、「星月夜」にはあった写真解説を載っけてない。

「スターリーナイト」。

作れる人がいたら、まじで拍手喝采 「あっぱれ!!!」だな。
